About Us...

Reel Women Fish was created by two women, Mary and Barb. Both Barb and Mary are from the North Woods of Wisconsin and both have a love of fishing.

From this passion of fishing came the idea of starting their company, RW Reel Women Fish. They had a logo created and had the logo trademarked. Then they created a clothing line, which you can see on the Clothing 'n Such page. They wanted the clothing line to be classy, comfortable and usable. Look thru the products available and see what you think. After the clothes came a small line of products called Fishing Tails. Currently there are mugs and bandanas available.

Along with the products for sale, Barb and Mary want to share their passion of the outdoors and fishing and hope to share any ideas with others wanting to know more about the sport. Fishing is fun and exciting, while at the same time calm and relaxing. It is what you make it. Please browse the site. We hope you find ideas and answers to any questions you might have.

Relax

Fishing is a wonderful way to relax. Sometime when you're out fishing in a boat, take a moment and just relax. Stop fishing. Close your eyes. Listen. Hear the sounds around you. Can you hear the wind blowing thru the trees? Feel the temperature against your skin, whether warm or cold. Smell with your eyes closed, to see if you can smell your surroundings. Can you smell the water? Can you smell the trees around you? Relax. Another idea when you're fishing in a boat...bring a book. Then take a break from fishing and spend a little while reading. Let your surroundings set your mood.

During spawning, most fish are less actively feeding, spending more of their concentration on the spawning. Yet many fish will actively attack a lure that is placed in the spawning area.
